Why choose bespoke dressing room furniture?

Bespoke dressing room furniture transforms a space from simple storage into something truly refined and personal. Designed around your exact layout and lifestyle, it ensures every element fits seamlessly while creating a calm, cohesive feel.

Here are some of the reasons to choose a bespoke dressing room:

  • Tailored to your space for a perfect, built-in finish
  • Creates a clean, organised and clutter-free environment
  • Combines wardrobes, shelving and seating in one cohesive design
  • Includes smart storage like pull-out shoe racks and jewellery trays
  • Can incorporate a bespoke dressing table for added function and balance
  • Custom finishes, colours and lighting to match your style
  • Enhances both daily routines and the overall feel of your home

With thoughtful design and high-quality craftsmanship, a bespoke dressing room doesn’t just store your belongings – it elevates how you use and enjoy the space every day.

DESIGNED FOR ANY SPACE

Types of Dressing Rooms

Bespoke dressing rooms can take several forms, depending on the layout of the house and size of the space available.

bespoke walk in wardrobes

Walk-In Dressing Rooms

A walk-in dressing room offers a dedicated room for clothes, accessories and preparation, often with storage around the perimeter and a central island or dressing table where space allows.

Our bespoke interior styling service can further elevate these spaces, with carefully chosen lighting, finishes and details that bring both style and functionality to your dressing room.

Compact Dressing Rooms

Small or narrow rooms can be designed with a fitted dressing room that forms part of a bedroom or suite, with cabinetry and storage built neatly along one wall or into a recessed area.

We can mix of open shevling, compact drawers and carefully positioned hanging space so that every inch of space is utilised, without making it feel overcrowded or busy.

Do you have a space in mind?

Whether it’s a loft, a narrow room, or a disused space in your home, we’d love to help you transform it into a bespoke, custom-made wardrobe designed just for you.

What is a Bespoke Dressing Room?

A bespoke dressing room is a made-to-measure space designed around your wardrobe, your routines and your home. Unlike off-the-shelf furniture, bespoke dressing room furniture is planned to fit the room precisely, making better use of awkward corners, alcoves, sloping ceilings and underused space.

It is also far more personal. A bespoke dressing room wardrobe might include long hanging, double rails, drawers, shelving, shoe storage or a bespoke dressing room table, depending on what you need most. The benefit is a room that feels calmer and more useful, with every item stored in a way that makes daily life easier.

FROM CONCEPT TO DELIVERY

Our Design Process for Creating Bespoke Dressing Rooms

1. Initial Consultation

Every bespoke dressing room begins with a conversation about how you live and what you need the space to do. We look at the room itself, taking into account proportions, ceiling height, natural light and any architectural features that should be worked with rather than against.  This consultation can either take place at our Warwick studio or in your home – what ever suits you best.

2. Accurate Measurements

Our team takes precise measurements of your room, including ceiling heights, skirting boards, coving, and any architectural features that may influence the design. This ensures your bespoke dressing room furniture fits perfectly.

3. Bespoke Design Development

Stan Matthews, our designer, creates a custom made dressing room design based on your requirements that balances storage, style and circulation. These designs will be presented to you as design drawings for your review.

4. Fabrication and Quality Craftsmanship

Once the design is approved, our skilled team begins fabrication. Every piece of bespoke furniture is made to exact specifications, ensuring high-quality results. Stan overseas the joinery and detailing, while Irene brings the interiors perspective.

5. Professional Installation

We coordinate the fitting to suit your schedule, keeping disruption to a minimum. Your new bespoke dressing room is installed with precision, leaving you with a functional and stylish addition to your home.

KIND WORDS

Positive & Diligent

We have used Stan Matthews twice now, once was over 9 years ago at a previous house, they looked great the whole time we lived there (around 8 years) and more recently at our new house, the quality is top notch, builders were very friendly and professional, I’d much rather use these guys than a big national company any day. Thanks Stan and the team!

What is the difference between a walk-in-wardrobe and a dressing room?
